Water Quality Reports

Hilton Head Public Service District (PSD) regularly provides important information about the drinking water. Hilton Head PSD is governed by an elected Board of Commissioners who typically meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month in the Community Room at the Water Resource Center, located at 21 Oak Park Drive, located off Matthews Drive on Hilton Head Island. If you have any questions about the report or about the water, please contact the PSD General Manager Pete Nardi at 843-681-0525 or [email protected].

The Liquid Newsletter

Hilton Head PSD issues a monthly e-newsletter “The Liquid E-newsletter,” and a quarterly print newsletter, “On the Waterfront.”

Wetlands Biological Monitoring Reports

Each year, the PSD recycles more than 1 billion gallons of wastewater that provides irrigation for 11 golf courses and that nourishes wetlands in Palmetto Hall and Hilton Head Plantation. Professional biologists monitor the wetlands for the PSD, providing regular reports about how this recycled water benefits the unique habitats for plants and wildlife.

Comprehensive Annual Financial ReportS (CAFR)

The CAFR is presented in three sections: Introduction; Financial; and Statistical. The Introduction contains an overview of the PSD’s mission and its operations, including management transmittal letters. The Financial section has a report of the independent auditor, management’s discussion and analysis, the PSD’s financial statements, and supplemental financial data. The Statistical section includes financial and demographic information, generally presented on a multi-year basis.
