Utility SCADA Electrician/Technician

Hilton Head Public Service District, a water and wastewater utility on Hilton Head Island, S.C., is seeking a SCADA electrician.  Must be competent in troubleshooting, repairing and testing activities on various SCADA-related equipment; reading/updating wiring schematics; and installing/maintaining industrial electrical circuits and equipment, including large power transformers.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s Degree in electrical technology or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an electrician, preferably in the water/wastewater industry. Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program and/or military experience in the electrical field can be substituted for academic accreditation.
