Hilton Head PSD earns 15th straight financial reporting award

Hilton Head Public Service District (PSD) has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This is the PSD’s 15th consecutive year receiving the award. It is “the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management,” according to the association. The award is for the PSD’s 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, which can be found on hhpsd.com. PSD Finance Manager Amy Graybill, CPA, is the primary author of the report. Graybill is a GFOA Certified Government Finance Officer.

“The PSD is very honored to earn this recognition once again from the GFOA. It is testament to the hard work and dedication of our outstanding Finance team and the leadership of Amy Graybill, and the support of our customers and Board of Commissioners,” said PSD General Manager Pete Nardi.

“We hope that your example will encourage other government officials in their efforts to achieve and maintain an appropriate standard of excellence in financial reporting,” said Michele Mark Levine, GFOA Director of Technical Services.
