2019 Stormwater Pond Management Conference in Beaufort, SC

At Hilton Head Public Service District, we know just how important stormwater ponds are to water conservation efforts and to the health of our amazing Lowcountry ecosystems. That’s why the PSD is excited to be participating in the upcoming 2019 Stormwater Pond Management Conference in Beaufort, SC.

The conference — which will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, at the Quality Inn at Town Center on Boundary Street — is a great opportunity for folks to get together and share knowledge about these important features in our communities. Local and regional experts will give presentations, and attendees will receive information packets loaded with the latest developments and references for stormwater pond management. There will be helpful Q&A sessions with experts, and lunch and refreshments will be provided, too.

This conference will be a terrific opportunity for pond management professionals, pond owners, homeowners association representatives and property managers to increase their understanding of stormwater ponds. The conference is also a chance to receive continuing education credits for SC Pesticide Applicators and Certified Floodplain Managers.

The cost of the conference is $40, and you must register by November 11th. To register, go to https://bit.ly/2MbLtko and have a credit card handy.
