Herbert Ford of Marshland Road has served on the PSD Commission since 2010. A native of Hilton Head, Ford’s career includes 30 years with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency where he served in a variety of domestic and international security roles, including Division Chief and Group Chief in the agency’s Office of Security. His community involvement also includes serving on the board of the Coastal Discovery Museum, Heritage Library and Mitchelville Preservation Project. Ford’s leadership expertise includes crisis and risk management, human resources development, strategic planning and budget and resource management.
